New Partnerships Partnerships with Leading Publishers in Czechia and Slovakia

Press Release

Project Agora is thrilled to announce strategic alliances with prominent online publishers in Czechia and Slovakia. Notable partners such as Ringier Slovakia, Media Club from media house Prima Group and Startitup have joined forces with Project Agora and Taboola, Project Agora’s exclusive content recommendation partner, in a significant expansion of their network in the region. The onboarding includes popular sites such as aktuality.sk, azet.sk, iprima.cz and startitup.sk.

Czech and Slovak publishers will benefit from state-of-the-art content recommendation technology, offering increased opportunity for both monetization and organic traffic recirculation. The adaptation of Taboola’s technology promises increased visitors, higher engagement, and a substantial boost in advertising revenue.

At the same time, via Project Agora, advertisers will be able to target audiences at an enhanced premium and brand-safe environment within the two countries, as well as across the global Taboola network. Project Agora is Taboola’s exclusive partner in 26 markets in Central Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, providing advertisers in these markets the ability to target audiences across the world. Project Agora and Taboola have recently announced the extension and deepening of their partnership for the next 10 years.

Hana Schneeberg, Publisher Business Development Manager at Project Agora, commented: “We are committed to bringing our unique technology, data, and business relationships to publishers in Czechia and Slovakia, so that they can increase the value out of their visitors through better experiences at every touchpoint of their journey. More than 15,000 advertisers use Taboola to target local and international audiences, and publishers in this region can benefit from this unique global demand.”

Lenka Barbusova, Advertiser Business Development Manager, added, “The expansion of the Project Agora network with premium verticalized content grants advertisers unparalleled access to the Czech and Slovak audiences on the Open Web, where they spend a significant portion of their online time. This solidifies the foundation for us to further strengthen our relationships with media agencies and brands”.

Central Europe is a pivotal focus for Project Agora, which plans to continue its expansion in Czechia, Slovakia and other Central Europe markets through ongoing strategic partnerships with key publishers.
