The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) joined forces with Project Agora to Promote Greece

We are honored to have joined forces with the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), producing a major international advertising campaign to promote Greece as a top tourism destination for 2021. The campaign started in July and will run until the end of October; so far, the response has been extremely positive.

Making Greece a top tourist destination again

The campaign was designed to attract tourists to visit Greece in 2021, highlighting many of the country’s key landmarks and cultural attractions. In 2020, COVID-19 made international travel virtually impossible, but with borders opening up, the Greek tourism sector hopes to come back stronger than ever.

To launch the campaign, we utilized our exclusive partnership with Taboola – one of the leading global content discovery and native advertising platforms. This enabled us to promote content across 15 countries including the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Russia.

Reaching audiences through publishers they trust

Our strategy was to use a mixture of content discovery and video campaigns to promote GNTO’s image collection of Greek travel experiences. The content reached a targeted audience in the brand-safe environment of top local and global digital publishers – such as MSN, Bloomberg, HuffPost, and Business Insider.

With the help of Taboola’s technology, we enabled GNTO to make the most of their content – and with sharp targeting options, we matched the right creative to the right user at the right moment across their most trusted websites.
